Debra DeAnn Dellinger was welcomed into her eternal home on December 28, 2024, surrounded by loved ones after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on May 31, 1966, she was the beloved youngest of five siblings.
Dee’s greatest joy in life was her son, Travis, who she considered her proudest accomplishment. She also had a deep love for animals, especially her dog Abby, and found happiness in life’s simple pleasures—her family, stylish outfits, icees, and car rides. She worked at the University of Tennessee for thirty years.
Now whole and healed, Dee is reunited with those who went before her, including her parents, her brother, her nephew, and most beautifully, Jesus, whom she loved and trusted.
She leaves behind her husband, Billy; her son, Travis Hardwick, and daughter-in-law, Jenny; her sister, Robyn Brogdon, and brother-in-law, Hugh; her brothers, Bobby Jones (wife Mary) and Tim Jones; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, brother and sister-in-laws, stepdaughters, and friends. All will miss her kind spirit, infectious laughter, and joyful heart.
Dee will be deeply missed, and her memory will be forever cherished. Until we meet again, we find comfort in the hope of heaven’s joy.
Go on and ride your horses, Dee—until we reunite in heaven.
“Then I saw heaven opened, and a white horse was standing there. Its rider was named Faithful and True” Revelation 19:11a
There will be no funeral services.
