Deborah Delorine Sanders

Deborah Badgett Sanders, age 71, of Knoxville, Tennessee, entered the gates of Heaven on Friday, August 14, 2026. Deborah was a graduate of Halls High School. She was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and a member of Gillespie Avenue Baptist Church. She was also a longtime member of the Red Hat Society.

Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Lorine Badgett.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 49 years, Russell Sanders; daughter, Heather Allen; grandson, Grayson; granddaughter, Charlotte; sister and brother-in-law, Melody and John Monholland; brother, Gene Badgett; nephews, Nicholas and Joseph; and cousin, Millie Badgett.

Deborah will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to the East TN Kidney Foundation.

Family and friends will meet at 10:45am Tuesday, August 18, 2026 at Greenwood Cemetery for a 11:00am graveside service with Pastor Allen Dotson officiating.
