Deborah Ann "Debbie" Jones, age 55, Knoxville, TN passed away suddenly Monday, September 28, 2026 at her home. She was born in York, PA to the late William and Martha Oravetz. Debbie was a faithful member of Grace Baptist Church where she served several years on the Welcome Team.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Martha Oravetz.
Debbie is survived by her husband, Rodney Jones; son, DeShawn Oravetz; brothers, William, Robert and Patrick Oravetz.
The family will receive from 5:00pm - 6:00pm, Monday, October 5, 2026 at Mynatt Funeral Home Powell Chapel with a service to follow at 6:00pm. Reverend Perry Wiggins, Dr. Frank Catanzaro and Bob Bell officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:15am, Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at Mynatt Funeral Home Powell Chapel and go in procession to Greenwood Cemetery for an 11:00am interment service. Pallbearers will be: Reggie Bazel, Loren Riddick, Michael Fursa, Chris Massingill, Virgil Hester and Brent Davis.
