Debbie Darlene King

Debbie King, age 71, of the Halls Community, entered her Heavenly home the afternoon of January 13, 2026 at her home. She was a member of Knoxville Connect. She retired after thirty years of driving a school bus for the Halls School district. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. 

   Debbie was preceded in death by her husband, Bill King; parents, Alvin and Barbara Bridges and niece, Renee Bridges.

   She is survived by her children and their spouses; Michael (Rene’) King, Jamie (Carrmon) King, Amy (Menden) McKeehan; Candace (Jeremy) White; seventeen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren; brothers and their spouses, Ricky (Jackie) Bridges, Timmy (Teresa) Bridges, Tony (Paula) Bridges; sisters and spouse; Robin Underwood, Missy (Randy) Hendrix and Tracy Martin; several nieces and nephews.

    The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM Saturday, January 31, 2026 at Knox Connect with a celebration of life service following at 7:00 PM. The family has requested that if you have a special memory of Debbie, you will have the opportunity to expresss these during this time and they will be greatly appreciated.
