David Wayne Barnes

David Wayne Barnes, age 53, of Knoxville, passed away on Friday, January 21, 2022. He was an employee of UPS. David was known for being exceptionally kind. He openly shared his faith and walk with the Lord. David was ready to be a friend and willing to help anyone. He stayed up on current events, was a health advocate for himself and others, an expert marksman and an exceptional woodworker. David was an inventor and entrepreneur, and also loved animals. David loved unabashedly. He is loved so much and will be missed. He is preceded in death by brother, Michael C. Barnes; paternal grandmother, Mona Barnes; paternal grandfather, Robert C. Barnes; maternal grandparents, Orville P’simer and Hazel P’simer. He is survived by son, Devon Barnes; father and step-mother, Robert C. Barnes and Jenyth; mother and step-father. Janice L. Pybas and Jim; siblings, Robert O. Barnes, Johnathan W. Barnes and Tamantha L. Rodgers; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
