David Michael Lister
January 6, 1941 — August 25, 2025
David Michael Lister, age 84, of Knoxville, TN, originally from Hull Yorkshire, England, passed away on Monday, August 25, 2025. David was an avid football (soccer) fan. He was very proud of his British roots and carried it with him wherever he went. He was also a great storyteller and lover of beer, wine, classical music and The Beatles.
David is preceded in death by his mother, Lilie Jackson & father, Ernest William Lister.
He is survived by ex-wife, Angela Lister; children, Nathan (Haley) Lister & Megan (Patrick) Walker; brothers, Michael (Liz) Lister & Frank Lister; and nieces & nephews, Michael Lister (Leila), Simon Lister (Amanda), Jonathan Lister, Nick Lister, Sarah Lister (Phil) and numerous other great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Mynatt Funeral Home-Halls Chapel, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
