David Glenn Lamb Sr.

David Glenn Lamb Sr., 79, of Knoxville, TN, passed away on August 18, 2023 after bravely battling a long illness. David is predeceased by his parents and two brothers Charles and Bobby Ray. He is survived by brothers William Lamm and Benny Lamm, sister Barbara Cline, former spouse Kathy Lamb, their children David Lamb, Jr. and Nancy Tankersley, three grandchildren and six great grandchildren. David was born June 11, 1944 in Monroe, MI to Luther and Eva Lamm. Firmly grounded in his Christian faith and a member of Cedar Ridge Baptist Church, David was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force, retired truck driver, always guided by his strong work ethic. His love shone brightly through his generous actions toward others. Helping family, friends, and neighbors brought him genuine, endless joy. We will miss him dearly and love him always. Family will receive friends 5:00-7:00pm Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel. Family will hold a private graveside service.
