David Jay Heath

David Heath passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2024. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Heath, his father Jay Heath, his older brother, James Heath and his sister, Brenda Hudson and brothers in law, Larry Hudson and David Gillett, Jr. He is survived by his sister, Joey Heath and his brother Richard Heath. His nephew Brian Hudson. He is also survived by his niece Tracy Heath and nephew, Shane Heath, as well as his grandnieces, Madison and Emily Heath, grand nephews, Johnathon and Kevin Heath as well his nieces, Emma and Victoria Heath. He was a proud veteran of the US Army.

His passing is a very sad day for his family. David was a generous and giving spirit who loved life, unfortunately in later years he developed emphysema and COPD which eventually disabled him considerably. Despite this, his sense of humor and his generosity of spirit was undiminished. When our mother got older and unwell and lived alone he moved in with and took great care of her for the rest of her life. I and my siblings are forever thankful and grateful to him. We are also grateful for the many laughs, fond memories and antics he gave us. He is fondly remembered by all his family and friends who are too numerous to list here. He was the best of us.
