David Lynn Hale

David Hale, 76, of Halls, Tennessee, passed away early morning on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, due to complications from Alzheimer's disease.

He is survived by his loving wife, Elaine Hale, and his sons Aaron Hale, Andy Hale, John Hale, and Les McManus, as well as several grandchildren who brought him great joy.

Born and raised in the Halls community, David was a proud veteran of the Vietnam War and a retired small business owner in the local signage industry. He also authored a couple of novels and was a devoted family man known for his straightforwardness, humor, and integrity. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Family and friends will gather at 9:45am for a graveside service on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at 10:00am at the East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery-John Sevier, 2200 E. Governor John Sevier Highway, Knoxville, TN 37920.
