David Edward Dunn

David Edward Dunn age 88, of Knoxville, TN., passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2025. David was the owner of Dunn Dairy Equipment, established in 1974. David was also a veteran of the U.S Marine Reserves.

David was preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Shelma Jean Dunn, parents, Dave and Rose Dunn, infant brother, Johnny Dunn, grandparents: J.A. and Effie Booher, and good friends, Mr. And Mrs. Skelton, Fred Wyrick, and Ernest Dovat, and, in his own words, if it hadn’t been for them, he wouldn’t have ever been in business.

David is survived by his sons, Eddie Dunn and David Dunn, grandchildren: James (Hailey Rose) Dunn, Dustin Dunn and Lauren (John) Stalans; great grandchildren: Phoenix Riley, Colt Stalans and Abigail Dunn; and daughter-in-law, Debra Brock.

A call at convenience will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel. Family and friends will meet Thursday, November 13, 2025, at 11:45 AM at Clapps Chapel Cemetery for a 12:00 PM graveside service.
