David Dean Russell

Knoxville
David Dean Russell, age 86 of Knoxville, TN went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was a member of New Christian Rest Church. He enjoyed watching Walker Texas Ranger, Wheel of Fortune, and Jeopardy. He also loved singing gospel music.
Preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Russell; children, Mike Russell, James Russell, Tracy Russell, and John Russell; parents, Dora and Ernest Russell; as well as several siblings.
David is survived by his son, Anthony “Tony” Russell (Vickie); daughter, Kim Russell (Gilbert Gideon); as well as several loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon til 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2025, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel followed by a 2:00 p.m. funeral service. Burial to follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Condolences may be left at www.mynattfh.com.
