David Brogdon
August 7, 1955 — October 9, 2024
David J. Brogdon Sr., age 69, of Knoxville went to be with Lord on October 9, 2024, at NHC Knoxville after a lengthy illness. He was a member of Massachusetts Avenue Church of God. He enjoyed playing bingo.
Preceded in death by parents, Reverand Jack Brogdon Sr. (Dorothy); mother of his children, Barbara Ziegler; sister, Della Brown; brother, Jimmy Brogdon, and daughter, Mellissa Brogdon.
Survived by son, David Brogdon Jr and wife Brittany; brother, Col. Jack Brogdon and sister, Glenda Sobiotne. Grandchildren, Julia Brogdon, David Brogdon III, Dylan Cupp, Melissa Smith, and seven great-grandchildren
He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
