Danny Joe Campbell

Danny Joe Campbell age 75 of Harriman, TN passed away peacefully Thursday, August 3, 2023 at Ben Atchley State Veterans Nursing Home.  Danny served in the United States Army during Vietnam.  He was an avid fisherman, retired from the Cobb County Fire Department in Georgia.  He was a member of Walnut Hill Baptist Church in Harriman, TN.  Preceded in death by parents; T M and Eva Campbell.  Survivors: wife, Pamela Kaye (Hines) Campbell, Harriman, TN.  Daughter, Tonya (Jim) Price of Georgia, Step-sons, Cory Hines, Wayne Smith and Scott Smith all of Tennessee.  Daughter-in-law, Sharry Smith of Tennessee.  Sisters, Martha (Stanley) Elrod, Denise (Gil) Gainer, Annette (Dan) Daniel, Sheila Hipps and Judy Smith, Brother, Fred (Jo) Campbell all of Georgia.  Numerous nieces and nephews.  Family and friends will meet 12:15 p.m. Friday, August 11, 2023 at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery (John Sevier) for a 12:30 p.m. committal service with full military honors provided the East Tennessee Veterans Honor Guard.  The family ask in lieu of flowers, please make donations to Ben Atchley State Veterans Nursing Home.  Online condolences may be left at www.mynattfh.com
