Daniel Jonathan Young

Daniel Jonathan Young age 37, of Knoxville, passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2024. Jonathan is preceded in death by his father, Danny Lee Shipley, and grandparents: Roscoe and Wilma Shipley and Mary Carr and Granville Young. He is survived by his son, Logan Cooper, mother, Lisa Baker, sister, Felicia Harvey and brother-in-law, Chris, nephew, Bryson Harvey, and best friend and brother in spirit, Doug Morrissey. The family will receive friends Saturday, June 8, 2024, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel, immediately followed by a 4:00 pm memorial service officiated by Pastor Josh Greene.  In tribute to Jonathan’s passion for the UT Vols Football Team, the family request that guests attend his Memorial Service in their favorite UT Vols attire. Condolences may be expressed at www.mynattfh.com.
