Daniel Lafayette Kitts

Daniel LaFayette Kitts, age 52, of Knoxville, went to be with our Lord and Savior on January 3, 2017. He was a beloved son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend, and child of God. Dan loved people and never met a stranger. He was welcomed into Heaven by his mother, Ellen Faye Abner Kitts. He is survived by his father, Rev. Elbert W. Kitts; sons, Daniel and Nathan (Tiffany Couillard); grandchildren, Elle, Emma, and Dexter; brothers, David (Cindy), Tim, Ron, Paul, John (Jennifer); sisters, Donna Murray (Dave Lewis), Angie Collins, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family will receive friends 1:00 – 3:00 pm Saturday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with funeral service to follow at 3:00 pm. Family and friends will then proceed to Kitts Cemetery for interment, Rev. Herbert Jones and Rev. Andy Lynn officiating. www.mynattfh.com
