Clyde William Brown, Sr.

Clyde William Brown, Sr. age 77, of Knoxville, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2026. He was a member of the former Lynnwood United Methodist Church. He was a University of Tennessee graduate and taught science at Powell Middle School for 2 years. Clyde was later retired from Kroger after 47 years of service.

He was preceded in death by is wife, Margaret Brown and daughter, Megan Brown.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Stacy Brown; grandchildren, Megan Brown, Ashlynn Brown, Trae Hernandez, and James Hernandez; brother, Eddie Brown and sister, Ellen Brown.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 pm on Friday, April 3, 2026 at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel.

Family and friends will meet at Bookwalter Cemetery at 10:45 am on Saturday, April 4, 2026 for the 11:00 am graveside service. Reverend Donn King will be officiating.
