Clyde Lee Taylor, age 77, of Knoxville, Tennessee, died Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at University of Tennessee Medical Center. Clyde was born September 15, 1948, in Clinton, Indiana to the late Clyde and Madelyn Taylor. Clyde served in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his parents, stepmother, Bertha Taylor and several siblings to include his devoted sister, Beverly who died in November 2025. Clyde is survived by his loving wife, Anita Taylor; stepson, Eric Drinnon; stepdaughter, Natalie Drinnon and spouse, Tyrell; four step grandchildren whom he loved dearly. Sisters, Sarah Reed, Indiana, Maxine Rogers, Indiana, Kitty Modzelewski, NY; brothers, Allan Taylor of Indiana and Thomas Taylor of Virginia Beach; several nieces and nephews and numerous special people in his life over the years. Family and friends may call at their convenience on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel between the hours of 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Family and friends will meet at The East Tennessee State Veterans' Cemetery, 2200 East Governor John Sevier Highway, Knoxville, TN 37920 on Friday, January 30, 2026, 12:15 PM for an 12:30 PM graveside service with full military honors presented by the Tri County Veterans' Honor Guard.
