Clyde Edward Hall

Clyde Edward Hall of Corryton, Tennessee born December 24, 1944, passed away surrounded by family on April 9, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his father Clyde (Washington) Hall and mother Mildred (Rouse) Hall.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years Carolyn Davis Hall, daughters; Missey Wright, Wendy (Kevin) Crawford, Tammy (Chris) Cate, Mindy (Chris) Luttrell, grandchildren; Haley Thorpe, Hannah (Cameron) Skinner, Kira (Josh) Beasley, Maggie Luttrell, Seth Cate, great grandchildren; Abram Beasley and Hadlee Thorpe.

He was a member of Rutherford Memorial United Methodist Church. He graduated from Gibbs High School and Lincoln Memorial University. He retired from Knox County Schools where he taught middle school for 40 years. He was a member of Corryton Masonic Lodge #321 F&AM . He loved spending time with his family, farming, working jigsaw puzzles, playing Jeopardy, and traveling.

Family will receive friends at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a service to follow, Rev. Steve Doyal officiating. Family and friends will meet at 12:45 PM on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Greenwood Cemetery for a 1:00 PM graveside service. Pallbearers will be, Kevin Crawford, Chris Luttrell, Chris Cate, Cameron Skinner, Josh Beasley, Preston McCarty and Seth Cate.
