Clayton "Roger" Cooper

Clayton “Roger” Cooper, 61, of both Asheville, NC and Bean Station, TN passed away early Tuesday morning March 8, 2022 at Turkey Creek Medical Center in Knoxville, TN after a short battle with Covid-19. Roger was born on April 14th, 1960 to the late Reba and Calvin Wilson in Candler, NC. He was preceded by his parents Reba and Calvin Wilson, Biological father Clayton Cooper, 2 brothers, wife Tonya Cooper, fiancé Brook Hartsell and grandson Seth Swann. He is survived by his child Candie “Coop” Cooper and wife Dani (Leicester, NC) extended family Angie Swann (Asheville, NC), long time friends Randy Dellinger (Dandridge, Tn), Calvin and Leah Williams (Leicester, NC) and John Profitt (Newport, TN), Step-Daughter Hannah Hartsell (White Pine, Tn), brother William Wilson (Lake Wales, FL) 1 other brother and 3 sisters, 3 grandsons, 2 great-grandsons and 2 great grand-daughters. There will be no funeral services but the family will have a celebration of life at a later date.
