Claude "Ray" Tucker

Claude “Ray” Tucker, age 47 of Knoxville, passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at U.T. Medical Center. Former employee of Floyds Wrecker Service and Mayo’s Garden Center, and employed at Shannondale Health Care Center.  He was of the Baptist faith.  He was a good mechanic, loved working on cars and riding motorcycles.  Preceded in death by grandmother, Joyce Tucker and mother; Vickie Jollay.  Survived by wife, Misty D. Tucker; children, daughters Aliyah Tucker, Madison Tucker, sons Dustin (Lexi) Wells, Rodney (Haley) Rutherford, Jason Rutherford and Matthew Cannon, and Chris Mitchell and Patrick Mitchell; Brianna Love, a daughter whom he raised; grandchildren, Dustin and Serenity and Joshua Wells, Katie Rutherford, and Paxton Garner. Father, Joseph (Elaine) Tucker, Brother; Jamie King and Mike Tucker; Special aunts; Debbie Poe and Lisa Tucker; several other aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.  The family will receive friends 3:00-5:00p.m. Sunday, January 14, 2024 at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel followed by a 5:00 p.m. funeral service. Reverend Danny Scates officiating.  Family and friends will meet at 12:45p.m. Monday, January 15, 2023 at Bookwalter Cemetery for a 1:00p.m. graveside service.
