Claude Allen Plummer

Claude Allen Plummer, age 81, of Heiskell, Tennessee, passed away peacefully surrounded by his beloved family in the early morning hours of Tuesday, March 3, 2026. Claude was a graduate of Norris High School class of 1963. He attended Draughons Practical Business College (now known as Daymar College) in Nashville, Tennessee. Claude was a man of strong moral integrity. He loved deeply and gave kindness and compassion freely to others. He was active and enjoyed living his life. for him that meant motorcycle riding, engaging with family and friends, practicing his Christian faith, working on his cars and relaxing on his farm. Clade spent forty-five years as a machinist and in his spare time invented and patented a device called the woodchipper. Claude brought much joy and sunshine into the lives of his family and will be deeply missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Ethel (Cox) Plummer; sister, Peggy Ann Plummer; son-in-law, Daryll Stanton and bonus daughter through marriage, Julie Ann Sellers. Claude is survived by his loving wife, Linda Daryl Plummer, daughter, Cindy Plummer Daugherty, son, Jason Plummer, daughter, Dannell Plummer Stanton; bonus children through marriage, Jennifer LeAnne Zaruba; Michael Todd Grant and Jason Scott Grant. sixteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Charles Plummer, Johnny Plummer and Roy Plummer.

The family will receive friends from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 7:00 PM.
