Clarence Thurman Chadwick

Clarence T. Chadwick Jr., age 73 of Strawberry Plains, went to be with the Lord peacefully in his sleep, Friday, February 4, 2022. He was a Vietnam War veteran with the Army. Clarence loved to hunt and was a beekeeper. His grandkids always called him Bump. He was a member of Berean Bible Church since 1976. He had a great love for his pet and sidekick, Walle. Preceded in death by his father, Clarence Lee Thurman Chadwick Sr.; sister, Polly Tharp. Survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Mary Chadwick; daughter, Jennifer Talbott(Seth); son, Adam Chadwick(Katrina Harmon); grandchildren, Anna Talbott, Andy Talbott, Eric Talbott, Michael Talbott, and Jimmy Talbott; mother, Mildred Chadwick; siblings, Robert Chadwick, Marie Goodnight, and Brenda Chadwick; sister and brother-in-law, Martha and Bill Townsend; several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Thursday, February 10, 2022, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with a service to follow at 7:00pm, officiated by Pastor Fred Freed. Family and friends will meet Friday, February 11, 2022 at 8:15am for an 8:30am interment at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery John Sevier Highway.
