Clarence Eugene Godfrey Jr., age 71 of Knoxville, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 13, 2023.

Preceded in death by Parents, Clarence Godfrey Sr. and Rosie Godfrey as well as eleven of his brothers and sisters. Daughter- Michelle Edwards, Granddaughter- Whitney Godfrey, Ex wife- Rebecca Edwards

Survived by his son, Johnny Godfrey; daughters, Brenda Smith and Sarah Jenkins; grandchildren, Katelyn, Keegan, Zoe, Isaiah, MacKinsley, Jacob, Bradley, Kevin, CJ, Christopher, Nicholas and Timothy; great grandchildren, Bre'ona, Serenity, Rydian, and Bristol; son-in-law, Alva Edwards.

  The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Monday, September 18, 2023 at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City.  Family and friends will meet 12:45 p.m. Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at Walker Cemetery, Sharps Chapel for a 1:00 p.m. graveside service.
