We are devastated to share the untimely death of Chester Joseph Lundin. He passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 3rd at home with family. He was 43 years old.
Chester was kind to his core and those who were fortunate to know and love him would agree he was filled with creative genius. His fervor for life was overflowing in all that he did. He was a nonconformist. His talent was evident in his large body of artistic work in music, drawing, painting, sculpture, and theoretical discourse. In addition to his artistic pursuits, Chester was an enthusiastic cook, a lover of nature, and enjoyed exploring the outdoors. He was our forever comedian, never missing a beat to share a laugh, with lively observations and colorful rhetoric that induced laughter in unexpected guttural delight. Chester is deeply missed and his unexpected departure has left a hole in our world.
Chester is preceded in death by his Grandparents Lloyd William Lundin, Ruth Adeline Lundin, William Harvey, and his cousin Jed Lundin. Chester is survived by one Grandparent, Betty Hickle, his parents, Chester Norman Lundin and Jeri Lou Harvey; his Siblings: Janie Ruth Lundin-Ledgerwood (Sister), Kristi Lundin (Sister), and Brent Fersner (Brother), as well as, his aunts, uncles, and cousins (among them his closest confidantes were cousins Shawn Lundin and Lewis Williamson).
The family asks that donations in his name be directed to the Interfaith Clinic of Knoxville. A memorial is being planned for a later date in Knoxville, TN https://www.
