Charles Dennis Savage

Charles “Dennis” Savage age 53, of Knoxville, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2025. Dennis was an avid NASCAR fan, always cheering for Kyle Larson. Dennis was able to watch his last race this past Sunday, with Kyle Larson taking the win. Dennis was also a loyal UT fan, especially football. When it came to any UT sports, he was a VOL through and through. He also loved his cats at home.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Savage and Mary Catherine Hudson, son, Zackary Ledford, brother, Tony King, brother-in-law, Greg Hensley, and significant other of more than 20 years, Lisa Newton.

Dennis is survived by his daughter, Taylor Fawcett Savage (Adam Kruse), sister, Angie Hensley, special nieces and nephews: Heather and Cameron McGhee, Tyler and April Hensley, McKayla Widener, Mandy Widener, and Megan Widener; great nieces and nephews: Chandler, Abigail, Gabrielle, Koltyn, and Kailyn; and special friend, Callie McCarter. A private Celebration of Life service will be held for family and friends. The family asked in lieu of flowers; donations be made to Mynatt Funeral Home to help cover expenses for Dennis.
