Charles S. Harrell

Charles S. (Buddy) Harrell age 67, of Knoxville, died March 28, 2022. He was born in Knoxville and grew up in Halls. He graduated from Halls High School, and went on to earn degrees from the University of Tennessee and from Southern Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. Charles retired from Thompson Photo Company. He was a gifted photographer who was always willing to share his knowledge of cameras and photography. He enjoyed flowers and gardening, travel, reading and playing with his cat. Charles was a member of Fountain City United Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, William C. Harrell and Eva N. Harrell. He is survived by his sister, Barbara, several cousins, and many cherished friends. He will be greatly missed. Friends and family may call at their convenience on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, from 9:00am to 5:00pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel. Friends and family will then meet at Lynnhurst Cemetery on Thursday, March 31, 2022, at 2:45pm for a 3:00pm graveside service, officiated by Senior Pastor Dan Hanshew.
