Charles Altieri Montgomery, age 57 born in Knoxville, TN has returned home to the Lord June 24, 2024. Charles was a beloved brother born the youngest child of 10 siblings. He attended school at St. Joseph Elementary and Knoxville Catholic High School. After graduation he entered the workforce. His charismatic personality allowed him to be successful as a sales rep in Information Technology and make many friends throughout his career. Charles was an athletic individual who loved many sports. He played soccer in high school and volleyball in an adult league. He loved snow skiing, water skiing, wake boarding and kite boarding. He also loved bowling and played with many friends and family. His love for water sports began by skiing behind a bass fishing boat at a very young age. He loved being on Norris Lake and taught his nieces and nephews how to ski and wake board. Charles enjoyed his many nieces and nephews and was always there to support and encourage them. Charles had a beautiful voice. He sang as a tenor for services and concerts for Fountain City Methodist Church of Knoxville, TN. Besides singing, Charles also played the piano and guitar. He enjoyed composing his own songs. He filled his childhood home with his musical creations on the piano for hours. His family can hear him play those songs still in their memories. Charles loved to travel and was able to go abroad to visit places like Venice and Germany. Charles was quick witted with a good sense of humor and never met a stranger. He will be remembered for his contagious smile and will be missed deeply by more than just his family.

Curtin, Alexis Feliciano, Matthew (Casey) Santella, Robert T. (Lam) Montgomery, Samantha (Andrew) Lacy, Isaac Santella, Ashley Feliciano, Michael Gaffney, Garrett Montgomery, Alexander (Logan) Feliciano, Geoff Taylor, Elizabeth (Scott Hannah f.) Grim, Ariel (Matt) Snyder, Asia Montgomery, Brianna (Austin) Harris, Nathaniel Gaffney, Chynna (Chad Turner) Montgomery, Tabitha (Roland) Parker, Elizabeth (Holland) Coleman, Deanna Montgomery, Anna Feliciano, Zachary Dickenson; grand nieces and nephews, Jacob Masters, Caleb Curtin, Jonah Masters, Jemma Masters, Elijah Curtin, great nieces and nephews, Isaiah Eason, Evelyn Eason, Shelby Gaffney, Irina Montgomery, Adalyn Eason, Brooklyn Eason, Sebastian Snyder, Grayson Parker, Isabelle Montgomery, Viviana Snyder, Parker Faye Feliciano, Lola Parker, Isabel Eason and Banks Lacy.
The family will receive friends on Monday, September 16, 2024, from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel. A Celebration of Life service will begin at 6:30 PM, Butch Maltby, officiating. A Rosary will immediately follow the Celebration of Life.
