Charles Lee Hammond, age 61, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024.

He is preceded in death by father, Edward Hammond; daughter, Rebecca Hayes; granddaughter, Andi Mincey; brother, Kenny Hammond.

He is survived by wife, Martha Hammond; children, Charles Hammond, Jr., Lacey Hammond, Amanda Hammond; grandchildren, Isabella Hammond, Anastasia Lovell, Tara Lovell, Katie Hayes, Charles Hayes, Jordan King, Elijah Lay and Gabriel Powers; great grandchildren, Grayson Wise and Brailyn Hayes; mother, Mary Brady; siblings, Debbie Hammond, Ronnie Hammond, Donnie Hammond, Johnny Hammond, Jimmy Hammond, Eddie Hammond, Scott Brady, and Cheryl Brady; cousin more like a sister, Lynette Duncan; sisters-in-law, Roben Slade and Jessie Williams; brothers-in-law, Moses Vanover and Daryl Vanover.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, January 26, 2024, from 5:00pm until time of funeral service at 7:00pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with Rev. Larry Duncan officiating. Family and friends will meet on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Mynatt funeral home at 11:00am to go in procession to Clapps Chapel Cemetery for an 12:00pm graveside service.
