Charles Eugene “Gene” Walker, age 75, departed this world for Heaven on March 14th, 2016. He is preceded in death by parents, Thomas and Josie Walker, siblings, Earl, Jerry, Anna, Betty and Mabel. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Kathy Walker; children, Annette Walker, Gina Newman, Tracey Patt, Rita Webber, and Charles E. “Chucky” Walker, Jr.; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; siblings; Jack and David Walker, Ruth Long, Dennie Abbott, Wilma Rush, and many loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
