Charles Edwin Silcox

Charles Edwin Silcox, age 77, of Knoxville, passed away December 17, 2013. He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Foster and Maggie Silcox; brother, Estel Ray Silcox; sisters, Clarene Jeffers, Emily York, Dorothy Savage Survived by loving wife of 53 years, Eleanor Silcox; daughter, Lisa Edens (William); granddaughters, Natalie Ellis (Dallan), Monica Edens; great-grandchildren, Easton and Oakley Mae Ellis; brother, Foster Silcox, Jr. (Carlene); sisters, Sue Wilburn, Betty Jeffers (Ronnie); several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 8:00 pm Thursday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with Rev. Wayne Davis officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:15 am Friday at the funeral home and proceed to Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery for 11:00 am interment. The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 pm Thursday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel.
