Charles Edwin “Gene” Black, age 91, of Tullahoma, TN passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2024 in Knoxville, TN. He is preceded in death by his loving parents, Buford and Irene Longmire Black; sister, Kathryn Martin; and brothers, Kelly, James & Tommy. He is survived by sisters, Elizabeth Wendelken & Sue Watson; brother, Bill Black and close friend, Larry Myers and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 26, 2024 from 11:00am-1:00pm at Mynatt Funeral Home-Powell Chapel with a service to follow at 1:00pm. Following chapel service family and friends will meet at Lynch-Bethel Cemetery for a graveside service.
