Carolyn June Smith

Carolyn June Worley Smith, age 81 went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 26, 2023.

Carolyn loved the Lord and loved her family unconditionally.  Throughout life she has blessed so many always giving freely of herself.  She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, attending church, reading books and traveling. She enjoyed many adventures over the years spending her final days in the mountains which she loved so much.

Preceded in death by her husband, Carroll Lee Smith; son, Michael Smith; and daughter, Donna Herman; sister, Barbara Clawson; brother, Frank Worley.

Carolyn is survived by her sons, Dennis Smith and Tim (Patti) Smith; brother, Tony Worley; sister, Cindy (Scott)Beam; as well as 12 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM with a 6:00 PM service to follow officiated by Pastor Doug Hayes at Everett Hills Baptist Church located at 401 S Everett High Rd, Maryville, TN 37804. On December 3, 2023, the family will meet at 1:45 PM for a 2:00 PM graveside at Mount Zion Methodist Church Cemetery located at 2745 Blue Creek Rd, Lenior, NC 28645.
