Carolyn Ruth Cole

Carolyn Cole, age 81 of Knoxville, passed away on April 10, 2022. She worked for Bob Evans restaurant, and enjoyed spending time shopping, spending time with her kids and grand kids, she was always on the go. Mom was a private person who lived for her kids. There wasn’t nothing my mom wouldn’t do for her kids. My mom was very active and always on the go, she lived every day to her fullest, and every day like it was her last. Her kids and grand kids were her only joy in life. She is preceded in death by parents, Audrey and Henry Smith; daughter, Angela Long; grandsons, Byron Vincent and Danny Johlin; and sisters, Sandy Ford and Mary Maddent. She is survived by loving sons, Tommy Bright, Eddie and Jeff Long; daughters, Sheila Johlin and Teresa Ehlert; siblings, Pat, Debbie, and Kim; grandchildren, Tabitha, Tina, and Michael Jr.; great-grandchildren, Hailey Vincent, Madison Huckaby, and Dominick Johlin. Family will receive friends Saturday, April 23, 2022 5:00-7:00pm at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel, service to follow at 7:00pm, Rev. Jonathan Tharpe officiating.
