Carolyn Joy Humphrey

Carolyn Joy Humphrey, born January 22, 1959, was a devoted mother, faithful servant of the Pentecostal faith, and beloved member of her family, went home to be with the Lord on November 18, 2025. She lived a life marked by grace, compassion, and unwavering faith. Her greatest joy was found in loving God and others. She carried a gentle spirit, a praying heart, and a steadfast trust in the Lord that guided her through every season of life. Carolyn is preceded in death by her father, Dewey Burdell, and her mother, Juanita Dickenson; as well as siblings Robert Lee, Dean, Billy, Tommy, and Shirley. She is survived by her loving husband, Paul Humphrey; siblings, Jimmy (Kathy) Dickenson, Pam Story, and Jeff (Penny) Dickenson; children, Stephanie (David) O’Connor,  Amanda Norris (Mike) and grandchildren Kayla (Timmy) Lawson, Blakelyn Lawson, Alex Norris, Justin (Kimberly) Norris, Axel and Guage, Joshua (Piper) O’Connor, Tristen Norris, Zachary Norris, and Bailey Norris, and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Friday, November 21, 2025 from 5:00pm-7:00pm  with a 7:00pm funeral service to follow at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel officiated by Gilbert Owens. Family and friends will meet Saturday November 22,2025 at Lynnhurst Cemetery at 10:45 for a 11:00am graveside service.

Pallbearers will be Alex Norris, Justin Norris, Joshua O’Connor, Michael O’Connor, Daniel Dickenson, and David Weaver.

Honorary Pallbearers will be John and Nader Shayeb
