Carolyn Marie Hamrick

Carolyn Marie Hamrick age 91 of Knoxville, passed away Friday, August 29, 2025 at Trinity Hills Assisted Living Facility.  She was a member of Tennessee Avenue Baptist Church and retired from Knox County Schools as a Special Education Teaching Assistant.  Carolyn and her late husband Paul enjoyed and loved making ceramics.  Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Paul W. Hamrick; and parents Katherine and James Hale.  Survivors; sister, Joyce Davis, Knoxville; nephew, Larry Davis, New Tazewell; nephew, Lance (Susan) Davis; niece, Lisa (David) McMillan; several great nieces and great nephews; and great-great nieces and great-great nephews.  Family and friends may call at their convenience on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City from 9:00 a.m. til 6:00 p.m.  Family and friends will meet 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at Greenwood Cemetery for a 11:00 a.m. graveside service, David McMillan and Lance Davis officiating.  Condolences may be left at www.mynattfh.com.
