Carolyn S.D. Gorman

Carolyn S.D. Gorman aged 82 of Knoxville, TN was called home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in the early morning on Friday, March 1, 2024, at UT Hospital. Carolyn was a homemaker who loved to eat and take food from restaurants home with her. She loved to travel to the beach and mountains and she had a great love for gospel music. She enjoyed decorating for holidays especially Christmas, arts and crafts such as making flower arrangements, making and painting ceramics and coloring. She was preceded in death by her first Husband: Jimmy Loyd DeBusk and Husband: Kenneth Gorman Sr., Father and Mother: Noah and Elizabeth Woods, Grandmother: Cynthia Ann Humphries, Brothers: Bobby Woods, Gene (Seal Beans) Woods, Sisters: Ann Woods, Mary Butcher-Lane, Louise Meadows, Son: Robbie Lynn DeBusk, Grandchildren: Rebecca England and Christoper Ward. She is survived and will be missed by Brother: (Bill) and Vickie Woods, and Sister-in-Law: Carolyn Woods, Children: (Patricia) and Dennis Coker, (Carl) and Sondra DeBusk, (Cynthia) and Rick Foster, (Kimberly) and Chris Britt, (Loretta) and Paul Leyva, (Jimmy) and Dani DeBusk, (Teresa) and James Harmon, Grandson: Travis Scott DeBusk-Wright. She will also be missed by many loving Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends. Special Friends: Mary Jane Lawson and Linda Henry-Campbell. The family will receive friends at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, from 4:00-6:00PM with a service to follow starting at 6:00PM with Preacher Jim Woods officiating.  Family and friends will meet at Lynnhurst Cemetery on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at 10:45AM for an 11:00AM Graveside Service.
