Carolyn "Sue" Dyer

Carolyn "Sue" Dyer age 73 of Corryton, passed away 5:50 p.m. Sunday, October 26, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  Sue worked at the Standard Knitting Mills, she was of the Baptist faith.  Sue loved playing softball in her younger years, she loved her family dearly and her monthly family gatherings.  She was preceded in death by her parents; Anna Mae and Jack Hensley, Sr.; sisters, Nancy and Mildred; brother, Jack Hensley, Jr., and baby brother.  Survivors; husband, Ray Dyer; sons, William (Deborah) Kirkland and Michael (Allison Shepherd) Kirkland; granddaughter, Taylor Kirkland; sister, Jabo Faulkner; brother, Bob Hensley; sister-in-law, Sandy Hensley;  special caregivers; Hayleigh and Lisa Sharp, and Michael Williams; several nieces and nephews.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel 4131 E. Emory Road Knoxville, TN 37938 followed by a 7:00 p.m. funeral service, Rev.
