Knoxville

Carole Elaine (Scarbro) Bishop passed peacefully on June 27, 2024, with her loving husband of 27 years by her side. She was born to Tom and Margie Scarbro on December 8, 1942, in Knoxville, Tennessee. She attended Powell High School and was dedicated in her many years of service at Star Sales where she was the first female on the road sales team. After retirement, she spent time in her community delivering flowers for Petree's Florist. Carole was full of life and joy, dancing every chance she could. She loved music and was in the choir at Salem Baptist Church in the Halls community. Her last church home was New Life United Methodist in Knoxville. She was an avid gardener, planting and maintaining the grounds in her neighborhood and at her church. She loved the beach, taking family trips to the coast, boating on the lake and going on cruises. She was an excellent cook, baker, and decorator, making Sunday suppers and holiday gatherings special. She made exceptional dishes, cookies and candies for large family gatherings. She also loved ice cream, Jazzercise, flower arranging, a good Pinot Grigio, chocolate, and her kitty cat, Magnum.

Carole left this earth at peace, knowing she would be with Jesus in the place He has prepared for her in Heaven.
