Carol Evelyn Ogle

Carol Merriman Ogle, age 68 of Knoxville, passed away on June 12, 2026. She was known for her quiet strength, steadfast courage, and abundant grace. She inspired others through her kindness and was a constant source of encouragement, hope, and love to all who knew her. Carol was a member of Mount Harmony Baptist Church and retired from General Shale Brick. Preceded in death by husband of 33 years, Conard “CJ” Ogle, parents Charles “Pete” and Leda Merriman, and brother Wayne Reed. Survived by son Justin (Andrea) Ogle, daughter Miranda (Jason) Barnard, known as “Mimi” to her grandchildren Brooklyn, Gavin, and Addison “Addy” Barnard, siblings Jeffrey Merriman, Janet Merriman, Judi (David) Knight, brother-in-law Dewayne Ogle, and sister-in-law Janine (Robert) Burnett, several nieces and nephews, special friends Beetina Long, Amy and Charlie Whitson and aunt Pansy Hayes.
