Carol Faye Cook-Bean

Carol Kron Bean, age 85, of Knoxville TN, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2026.

She is preceded in death by husbands Ernie Cook, Bob Bean, and ex husband Jim Tindell, parents Claude and Louise Kron, (baby sister) Claudette, and sister Jennifer Nichols (Gary). 

Carol is survived by son Richard Tindell, granddaughter Sydney (Tyler) King, sister Gale Davidson, brother Mike (Melanie) Kron, and brother Tim Kron. Blessed with precious nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.
Carol graduated from Fulton High School, Draughon’s Business College, and Acuff Clinic. Over the years she worked for heart/lung doctors and orthopedic surgeons. She sang in the choirs at Fulton High School and Central Baptist Church at Fountain City.
Special thanks to her special friend, Carol McGhee. Thank you to Angie Mullins and the staff at Emory Mills Senior Living and Sacred Ground Hospice House who lovingly cared for Carol in her later years and final days. Thank you to Central Baptist Church friends, Fulton High School friends, Kathy Anen, and faithful family.

Call of convenience will be held Friday, September 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, September 19, at 3:00 p.m. at Lynnhurst Cemetery. Everyone is asked to meet at the funeral home at 2:00 p.m. to go into procession.
