Carlos Ayala-Fuentes

Carlos “Tuto” Ayala-Fuentes, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family.

Diagnosed with terminal brain cancer four years ago, Carlos walked through his illness with resilience, grace, and unwavering love.

Family meant everything to Carlos, and his greatest joy was being a dad. He was known for his humor, warm heart, and love for anime. His presence brought laughter, love, and light to all who knew him.

Carlos is survived by his life partner, Rowena Ayala-Fuentes; his beloved daughter, Isabella Fuentes; his father, Rogelio Ayala; his mother, Alma Fuentes; his siblings, Christian Fuentes, Charytin Ayala, Alicia Ayala, and Salvador Cota; his half-brothers, Carlos and Angel Quintero; and his four cherished nieces and nephews.

Though our hearts grieve, we rejoice knowing Carlos is now at peace, fully restored in Christ, and his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Mynatt Funeral Home, 2000 TN-131, Powell, TN 37849. Receiving of friends and family will take place from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., followed by the service at 4:00 p.m.

As family and friends gather to honor Carlos’s life, those who wish are welcome to wear blue in his memory.
