Carl Edward Raby

Carl Edward Raby, age 73, of Corryton went home to be with the Lord on December 27, 2020. He passed peacefully at home surrounded by his family. He was a Viet Nam Veteran serving in the United States Army. He was a member of New Beginnings Baptist Church where he especially loved his men’s bible study class. Preceded in death by his parents Rev. Clarence H Raby and Louise Raby; infant son Carl; his brother Raymond and sister Brenda. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Faye Raby; daughters, Tina (Davy) Keys and Angie (Chris) Jenkins; sisters, Pat Wampler and Wilma Millsaps; brothers, Cotton and Kenny Raby; beloved grandchildren, Lindsey & Austin Patrick, Matthew Jenkins, Kody Keys and many nieces, nephews and friends. A call of convenience for Carl will be held Friday, January 1, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Mynatt Funeral Home, 4131 E. Emory Road, Knoxville, Tennessee 37938. A private Celebration of Life service will be held due to the public health concerns of Covid-19 with Rev. Danny Neal officiating.
