Caleb Micheal Heath, went to his Heavenly home on July 24, 2025 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. He was a member of Chilhowee Hills Baptist Church.
He was a graduate of Gibbs High School, Walters State and Roane State Community Colleges. He was a certified critical care paramedic employed by Claiborne County, Covenant EMS. He was a part-time instructor of EMT, AEMT, and Paramedic students at Walter State Community College. He also proctored for the Tennessee State EMT program.
He was previously employed by Sevier County EMS, Morristown Hamblen EMS, and AMR of Knoxville. He worked for a brief time as a flight medic for Life Star. He was a volunteer for Knox County Rescue Squad. He was a recipient of the Children’s Care Alliance of Tennessee 2020, Star of Life Award. He also held FAA certification as a sport pilot and endorsement in land powered parachute. He founded Powered Parachutes Over Morristown Group. He was an accomplished fiddle player and several stringed instruments. He was a hot air balloonist.
Preceded in death by grandparents William (Junior) Helton, Joyce and Artis Heath; great grandparents Tip and Ruby Lawson, Paul and Ella Mae Hair, and James and Reba Heath.
Survived by parents Ricky (Hope) Heath, Clinton; Kimberly (Dennis) Brown, Knoxville; Kaylee Brooke Heath, Sister, Clinton and Eric James, step-brother, Clinton; grandparent Wilma Helton, Corryton; Aunt Vickie (Mark) Whitehead and cousin Erika, Knoxville. Several aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday, July 27, 2025, from 3:00pm to 6:00pm at Circle Assembly of God, 8529 Rutledge Pike, Knoxville, TN 37924 with a Celebration of Life service following at 6:00pm with Rev. John Lawson, Rev. David Collins, Rev. Keith Buckner, Derrick Shetterly, Mark Hinkle and Steve Davis officiating. Family and friends will meet on Monday, July 28, 2025, at 10:00am at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel to go in procession, escorted by local and surrounding EMS departments, to Lynnhurst Cemetery for an 11:00am graveside service with full EMS Honors provided.
