C. Dean Helton

Dean Helton, age 90, of Knoxville, passed away peacefully, Sunday, October 2, 2022. Dean was a Mason and of the Presbyterian faith. He retired from TVA as a purchasing agent. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mattie Lou Greenlee Helton; sister, Carolyn Yvette Helton Smith. Dean is survived by his loving children and their spouses, Christopher M. and Cindy Helton and Karen H. and Pat Patton; grandchildren, Charles Cory Patton, Kymber McMurray and Nicholas Dean Patton; sisters, Bennie Louise Helton McMahan, Vivian Helton Bolinger and Sharon Helton (Charlie) Laudermilk. The family would like to express their appreciation to Buddy Cardwell and Kyle Smith. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM Sunday, October 9, 2022 at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel with a Celebration of Dean’s life to follow at 5:00 PM, Tim Fawver, Minister. Family and friends will meet at the main entrance (Adair Drive) to Lynnhurst Cemetery, Monday, October 10, 2022 for an 11:00 AM graveside service.
