Bryce Wayne Acuff, age 66, of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord on August 22, 2025.
Bryce was a loving father and motorcycle racer, with a quick and sarcastic wit, who was a friend of every single person he met, and loved spending every weekend with his family and friends at the racetrack. He worked for many decades with AT&T as a lineman.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Kathy; his father, Clifford Ray Acuff, and a brother, Chris Acuff.
He is survived by his children, Paul Acuff (Kelly), Troy Acuff (Isaiah), and Casey Acuff (Allegra Shanee); mother, Betty Lou Acuff; brother, Robin Acuff (Lisa); grandchildren, Jackson Ray, Elliot Spencer, and another grandson on the way; special nieces and nephews: Brandon (Kusum), Kristi, Amanda, Carter, Aria, Evelyn, and Olivia. He is also survived by his loyal 4-legged companion, Putt-Putt, very special friend, Sandy Coker, and best friends Dennis, Benny, Butch, Charlie, and all of his racing buddies.
A funeral service will be held at Mynatt Funeral Home, Powell Chapel, on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at 1pm with Pastors Kelly Acuff and Jamie Bauknight officiating. Friends may visit with the family starting at 11am. A graveside service will follow at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers: Dennis Beckley, Gary Lynn, Butch Million, Charlie Owens, Chris Johnson, and Robbie Shelton.
