Brian Keith McConkey

Brian Keith McConkey, age 57 of West Knoxville, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at Tennova North after an extended illness. He was a member of Centerview Baptist Church. He was also the owner of McConkey Body Shop on Ball Road. Brian was an avid UT sports enthusiast and a graduate of Karns High School. Preceded in death by his grandparents William and ruth McConkey, Sr., aunt Theresa Childress. Survived by parents William and Joyce McConkey, Jr., sister Tammy McConkey, nephews Chris (Sydney) Henderson, Joshua Henderson, great-nieces and nephews Maverick, Austin, Emma, and Cooper Henderson, uncle Gary McConkey, several other nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family family members. The family would like to express their thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff of the 2nd floor ICU for all their care, love, and support. Family will receive friends 5:00-7:00pm Friday, March 20, 2026, at Olivet Baptist Church with service to follow at 7:00pm, Rev. Chuck Daniels and Rev. Matt Caldwell officiating.
