Brenda Mae Tallent

Brenda Mae Tallent, age 75, passed away on October 11, 2024. Brenda loved cooking shows, crafts, softball, bowling, the Vols, and her family-especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Brenda was a devoted member of Faithway Missionary Baptist Church. She was married to her husband, Ralph, for 56 wonderful years. Brenda always helped anyone she could and had a giving heart.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, James and Alpha Huskey; brothers, Jimmy and Buddy Huskey; and a sister, Nancy Graves.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph Tallent; daughter, Staci Crosswhite (husband, Sean Asbury); son, Jason Tallent (Angel Tallent); sister, Joann Kiser (husband Don); brother, Johnny Huskey, Sr (wife, Marianne); sister, Bernice Julian (husband, Steve); sister-in-law, Rosemary Huskey; grandchildren, Chanel Summers and Jeffrey Summers, as well as 5 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at Faithway Missionary Baptist Church from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM, with a Memorial Service to follow. Pastor Paul Carter and Pastor Rick Graves will be officiating.
