It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, Brenda Lambdin who went to be with her Lord and Personal Savior at the age of 74. She peacefully left this world on Friday, October 4, 2024. She was a long-time member of Smithwood Baptist Church. Brenda was born on September 15, 1950, in Knoxville, Tennessee to the late William H. Lambdin and China Wanda Glenn. Brenda graduated from Fulton High School and then went on to become an LPN. She was a black belt in isshinryu karate and taught for many years. Also proceeding in death is her brother Alex (Ricky) Hickman (Debra Hickman) and grandmother, Roxie Lambdin. Survived by Daughters, Kelli Jobe (Danny Jobe), Buffi Dickenson (Jeremy Dickenson); Grandchildren, Braiden Hudson Sophi Fields), Landry Dickenson (Hannah Maples), Dane Jobe, and Denver Jobe; Great Grandson, Colter Lane Dickenson; Brother, William (Bill) Lambdin (Jeannie Lambdin); Nephew, Jeff Lambdin; also leaving behind several aunts and cousins and dear friend, Pamela Hurst. Family will receive friends on Thursday, October 10, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a service to follow at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel. Joel Marshall will be officiating and special music by Jeff Lambdin. On Friday, October 11, 2024, family and friends will meet at 2:30 PM at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel for a procession to Lynnhurst Cemetery for a 3:00 PM graveside.
