Bonnie Mae Hughes

Bonnie Mae McDaniel Hughes passed away at home Sunday, February 25, 2024. Bonnie celebrated 75 years of birthdays on November 18th. Preceded in death by parents Harrison and Hettie McDaniel. Bonnie leaves behind her husband, Larry; their daughter, Tara Lawson; granddaughters, Lakin and Savannah Lawson; brother, Bill McDaniel and wife Diane; nieces, Lora Beth Holt and Holly McDaniel; brother-in-law, Danny Hughes and wife Anna Marie; niece, Haley Anna Powers and husband Adam. The family would like to thank Pat White for her loving care of our beloved Bonnie. Bonnie worked as a G.I.A. nurse from 1983 until her retirement in 2013. Family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel. Family and friends will meet at 1:45 PM at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery at John Sevier Hwy for a 2:00 PM graveside service.
