Bobby Ray Thurman

Bobby “Ray” Thurman age 58, of Las Vegas, formerly of Blaine, TN., passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. He was a member of Oakland Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Eugene “Carlos” Thurman, mother, Wilma Florence (Moore) Thurman, and sister, Melissa Lou McDaniel. He is survived by his wife, Niva Thurman, stepchildren: Debra Ellis (Daniel Welch), Amber Marie Jones (Chris Og), and Jamie Perkins (Richard); two grandchildren, sisters, Penny Thurman and Vernie Johnson (Ricky), brother, Ronnie Norman (Mindy) and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet Friday, February 2, 2024, at 12:45 pm at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens for a 1:00 pm graveside service officiated by Pastor Stacey Lawson.
